Curriculum, assessment, reporting and certification
The Department of Education (the department) is committed to improving education outcomes for every child in the Northern Territory (NT) by optimising curriculum provision, using best practice assessment principles and ensuring integrity in all reporting and certification obligations.
Educators and department staff must follow certain policies, procedures and guidelines that support the design, delivery and assessment of quality teaching and learning programs and explain how they report on student outcomes.
These policies ensure consistency and clarity of practice in all areas of curriculum, assessment, reporting and certification in all NT government schools.
