Student administration, enrolment and attendance
The Northern Territory (NT) Education Act 2015 outlines the enrolment, attendance and participation requirements for all children residing in the NT and establishes parameters around the enrolment of students in NT Government schools.
The Department of Education and Training’s new enrolment and attendance policy suite articulates the principles and practices that support engagement in educational settings. It is designed as an overarching foundation document with topic-specific guidelines and procedures aimed at supporting schools understand their legislative obligations as well as to better promote the department’s commitment to engaging all children in education.
