School's priority enrolment area
Northern Territory (NT) Government schools must actively manage student enrolments to ensure sufficient operational capacity is reserved for students living in a school’s priority enrolment area.
They must follow the enrolment management and priority enrolment guidelines.
A school’s priority enrolment area is the residential area in a school’s catchment.
Students residing within a priority enrolment area will have priority placement within the school over children who reside outside of the enrolment area.
No eligible child will be denied enrolment at their local school, if they reside within the school's priority enrolment area.
To search a priority enrolment area, select a region below and input your address using the search tool at the top left hand side of the Google Map page.

Alice Springs priority enrolment areas to change in 2022
Following extensive consultation, the Department of Education is changing priority enrolment areas for Alice Springs government primary schools as of 1 January 2022.
To manage the impact of changing priority enrolment areas on school capacity, changes will be staged over a number of years. In 2022, this will begin with preschool and transition students only, extending up to year 3 in 2023 and full implementation in 2024.
