Increasing school autonomy

Increasing school autonomy is a key element of the Department of Education's strategic plan and a priority for the Australian and Northern Territory governments.

Increasing school autonomy aims to reduce bureaucracy by devolving decision-making to schools that are closer to the point of service delivery.
