Preschool STEM games

The Preschool STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Games have been developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne to support the implementation of the Northern Territory Preschool Curriculum.

The Preschool STEM Games provide early childhood educators with a resource to enact differentiated teaching and learning while maintaining important learning objectives for individual children that are informed by observation based evidence.

The STEM Games are a series of four resources have been designed to provide teachers with examples of age appropriate play based activities. The games strengthen opportunities for preschool teachers to respond to the diverse STEM competencies and language that children demonstrate as they transition into preschool, planning for current and future learning, and enacting the planning cycle.
