Academic Excellence Awards
The Northern Territory Board of Studies offers Academic Excellence awards to government and non-government students in their final years of primary, middle and senior schooling. The winners are nominated by their school with presentations made at end-of year school functions.
The principal and school council determine the criteria for selecting the winners. The Academic Excellence award consists of a certificate of merit and $50 award money in each of the following categories:
- top achiever in Year 6 (final year of primary school)
- top achiever in Year 9 (final year of middle school)
- top achiever in Year 12
- top Aboriginal achiever in Year 12
- top personal learning achiever in Year 12 (student with disabilities displaying exceptional perseverance and resourcefulness in achieving their personal learning goals)

Nominations open 8 September 2020 and closes 6 November 2020.
To nominate students for this award complete the nomination form below and return to the Executive Officer NTBOS either by email ntbos@nt.gov.au or by post to GPO Box 4821, Darwin NT 0801
