Family Engagement Charter
The Family Engagement Charter has been developed to underpin the relationship and expectations of how together, schools and families partner in a child’s education.
It highlights four key points which will be pivotal in guiding our continued journey to improving education in the Northern Territory.
- When schools and families become partners in learning our children’s social and academic outcomes improve.
- When we support each other and encourage learning at home not just at school, we see improvements in the classroom.
- When communication between our homes and schools are more effective, regular and two-way, we build and maintain trust.
- When we understand and respect each other’s role in a child’s life, it encourages achievement.
