Family Engagement Charter

The Family Engagement Charter PDF (184.8 KB) has been developed to underpin the relationship and expectations of how together, schools and families partner in a child’s education.

It highlights four key points which will be pivotal in guiding our continued journey to improving education in the Northern Territory.

1. When schools and families become partners in learning our children’s social and academic outcomes improve.
2. When we support each other and encourage learning at home not just at school, we see improvements in the classroom.
3. When communication between our homes and schools are more effective, regular and two-way, we build and maintain trust.
4. When we understand and respect each other’s role in a child’s life, it encourages achievement.
