Territory teachers recognised in national awards

Amazing work to Zuccoli Primary School, Driver Primary School and Palmerston College teaching staff who have been recognised in the 2024 Australian Teacher Aide of the Year Awards.

These annual awards recognise the positive impact of educators in schools and the significant influence they have on students, teachers and their school communities.

Kiera Ryan, Classroom Support Officer at Zuccoli Primary School has been announced the individual NT finalist for the positive impact she has had on the learning and wellbeing of students through targeted intervention programs.

Driver Primary School’s Preschool Educator Team has been announced the team NT Finalist for their positive impact on student engagement and the quality of their preschool program.

Christopher Bryett, Special Education Support Officer at Palmerston College and Danielle Gaylard, Education Assistant Officer at Zuccoli Primary School were also acknowledged in the highly commended awards, for their valuable contribution on students’ education journeys.
