Bulman School's music teacher nominated for national awards
Congratulations to Bulman School’s Nathaniel Miller who is one of four finalists in the 2024 ARIA Music Teacher Awards!
Nathaniel's music program has been teaching students to play different instruments alongside song writing, singing, and performance in English, Dalabon, and Rembarrnga languages for the past two years, guided by local elders.
Earlier this year, Bulman School students received the award for Community Clip of the year at the 2024 National Indigenous Music Awards.
Nathaniel has created a safe and inclusive learning environment where students are able to express themselves, reconnect with their culture, and find pride in their heritage through music.
