ATAR results and NTCET top 20 announced
Monday 16 December was an exciting day for our Year 12 students across the Territory as the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) results were released with 1,447 students achieving their Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (NTCET).
An incredible 14 students from Department of Education and Training school’s made part of the top 20 students across the NT. A special congratulations to Samuel Ricketts and Rupendren Manimaran who received a perfect ATAR result of 99.9, with Samuel named the top NT student for his ATAR result and University Aggregate of 89.25, and Ramona Dooley named the top Aboriginal student for 2024.
An additional 78 NT students earned their NTCET in comparison to 2023, and 257 of the 1,447 were Aboriginal students – a terrific improvement.
These results are a testament to the commitment and hard work of our Territory students, and a great reflection of the strong collaboration between students, families, teachers and schools.
We would like to congratulate all students on their dedication and achievements throughout the year and wish them the best of luck as they embark on their next chapters beyond school.
