Consultation on Department of Education Strategic Plan
Between mid-August and mid-September 2017, the Department of Education will be seeking input from students, teachers, school leaders, corporate and regional staff, families and community members on the development of our new strategic plan that is school and student centred.
A renewed strategy, will give us a framework to guide our activities – from strengthening our teacher capability to principal leadership, and corporate support. We aim to build on our existing strengths but also identify areas for additional effort.
A number of consultation sessions (Principal Business Days, teacher forums, community forums and meetings for corporate staff) are available for people to attend and have their say.
We are committed to listening to you during this process, and on an ongoing basis, to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of children in the Northern Territory.
Letting us know what you think will help us work together to build the best possible education system for young Territorians.
If you are unable to attend one of the consultation sessions, you are welcome to complete the online survey.
