VAMPtv reaches centenary episode
Video Art Music Performance television, or VAMPtv , is about to screen its 100th episode. The NT Music School-hosted avenue for multimedia education has been operating in regional and remote Territory schools since 2011.
VAMPtv School Liaison Teacher, Rodney Balaam, said: “The 100th episode will be a retrospective look at some of the formative clips, and the works of the more than 100 schools that have contributed videos over the years, and includes songs, dance, art, animation and film-making.”
NT Music School principal Bill Grose said: “This milestone is a celebration of the artistry of students, and an acknowledgement of the capacity of VAMPtv in sharing film clips and segments with schools across the Territory.
“We look forward to another 100 episodes demonstrating the energy of students, and themes drawn from the unique contexts of their lives.”
