Clyde Fenton reaches quality milestone
On the benchmark ladder for the quality of children’s education and care services, Katherine-based Clyde Fenton Primary School has raised its rank to Meeting National Quality Standard.
Services are assessed against the National Quality Standard by Quality Education and Care NT — the Territory's regulatory authority — and receive a rating for each of the seven quality areas of the standard, and as an overall rating.
Principal Jeff Parker said: “The rating elevation reflects our commitment to excellence in education, and our work to establish a school environment in which students can flourish, enhancing their learning outcomes and developing self-esteem and resilience.
“We are ambitious to qualify twice more and reach Excellent, the highest National Quality Standard rating.”
Clyde Fenton Preschool teacher Miss Marzocchi added: “Our preschool was particularly commended on our engaging learning areas, resources, and positive interactions with children. We are so proud to offer such a warm and nurturing environment.”
