Al Zahra funds flow to Nemarluk School
Al Zahra College students raised $2500 for Nemarluk School through the Community, Action and Service program, a college initiative requiring students to fundraise for an enterprise of their choice.
The Year 11 students, based at the small Sydney independent college, travelled to Darwin to present a cheque and stationery supplies, both of which will be used to support Centro Recurso Educacao Inclusivo, the Timor Leste sister school of Nemarluk School.
Nemarluk School associate principal Virg Hughes said: “We are very grateful to the Al Zahra College students for making this special connection with our school community, and with our sister school.”
